Spindletop Pain Management Company is a Texas based, multi-site comprehensive pain management company with an opening at our New Braunfels Surgery Center location.
We are looking for a talented Business Office Assistant who can support the business and help us achieve our strategic objectives.
Duties
- Chart preparation for clinical utilization and medical record filing. Review for accuracy.
- Responsible for opening the center and preparing for patient arrivals.
- Discuss financial responsibility with patient before the procedure date
- Schedule procedures/surgeries accurately.
- Enter data in HST and coordinate with insurance verifications
- Work in all areas in the clinic office-cross training is required.

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 1+ year of Surgery Scheduling Experience
- 2+ Years of Medical Office Experience
- Insurance Verification Experience
- Insurance Authorization Experience
- Medical Records and Chart Prep Experience
- Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook
- HST Software Experience a Plus
