We are embarking on a critical software implementation project designed to optimize operational processes for our client. This project involves the deployment of a leading off-the-shelf software solution, tailored to meet the unique needs of the business. As such, we require a dedicated Quality Assurance and Testing Analyst to ensure the software implementation is executed flawlessly, meeting both our high standards and client expectations.
Job Description:
The Quality Assurance and Testing Analyst will play a pivotal role in our project team, responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality assurance and testing. This includes developing test plans, conducting manual and automated tests, identifying bugs, and working closely with the development team to ensure issues are resolved. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Test Plan Development: Develop comprehensive test plans that cover all aspects of functionality, performance, usability, and integration.
- Manual and Automated Testing: Execute manual tests and develop automated test scripts to ensure the software meets all requirements and specifications.
- Bug Identification and Tracking: Identify, document, and track bugs and issues throughout the testing phase, working closely with developers to ensure they are resolved.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all aspects of the software implementation project meet quality standards and client expectations.
- Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with project managers, developers, and client representatives about testing progress, issues, and outcomes.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of test cases, results, and any deviations from expected outcomes.
- Continuous Improvement: Recommend improvements in software to enhance usability, efficiency, and functionality based on testing outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Testing, preferably with experience in software implementation projects.
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and tools.
- Experience with both manual and automated testing tools.
- Ability to develop and execute comprehensive test plans.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working closely with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in Agile development environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with the software being implemented is a plus.
