The Fabrication Supervisor is responsible for supporting the fabrication department to work successfully and safely to meet the needs of its customers, both internal and external. This position is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing its assigned manufacturing process(es). The supervisor will monitor the production of extruded and plated materials/products to ensure accurate, targeted volumes are produced at the right quality and cost; and provides support to the fabrication team members by removing obstacles to their success.
Duties:
A Fabrication Supervisor ensures production and quality goals are achieved through teamwork and clear communication. Train and develop operators for success in the team’s goals. Create a positive and highly effective working environment based on mutual respect and a shared goal of being the number one supplier to our customers. Evaluate and update the production schedule, overseeing quality control and ensuring products are produced on time, and projects completed within the deadline.
Primary Responsibilities:
Assures that operators are following standard work
Assures that operators are properly producing quality material
Assures that operators are properly producing parts to meet our daily production targets
Provides coaching if quality and production targets are not met
Review processes to assure quality product is being produced
Ensure flow of material is being followed and monitored for internal customers
Reviews machine/cells for any necessary prestaging
Reviews schedule to make necessary decisions
Assures proper PPE is being appropriately worn
Communicate effectively with team
Qualifications:
Prior production management experience preferred. Experience with or knowledge of large production lines, and process control a plus. Strong computer skills: MS Office and ERP systems. Able to work flexible hours as needed to support entire production team.

Pay: $42,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
