Overview:
The Senior Accountant is responsible for ensuring the effective management of food and beverage costs within an organization. It is expected to work closely with the F&B team to monitor inventory levels, analyse costs, and develop strategies for cost reduction. Responsibilities includes maintaining accurate records and providing timely financial reporting.
This role will pay a salary of $80,000 to $100,000.

Responsibilities:
Main duties and responsibilities:

Develop and maintain cost control procedures for all food and beverage operations;

Monitor inventory levels and ensure that food and beverage costs are within budget;

Work closely with the F&B team to analyse costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction;

Develop and implement strategies for cost reduction, such as portion control, menu engineering, and waste reduction;

Maintain accurate records of all food and beverage purchases, inventory levels, and costs;

Provide timely financial reporting to management, including cost analysis and variance reporting;

Provide training and support to F&B staff on cost control procedures and best practices;

Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and regulations;

Assist with special projects as assigned by management;
Occasional Duties:

To carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned or as dictated by unexpected business levels.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience in F&B cost control or a related field.
- Strong analytical and financial skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and cost control software Adaco.
