Job Summary
Our next dynamic and highly accomplished Vice President, Sales – New Logos will specialize in new business acquisition within the enterprise (B2B) sector. As VP, Sales – New Logos, you will spearhead and execute our strategic initiatives to expand our client base, drive revenue growth, and solidify our market presence in key sectors. This pivotal role demands a results-driven leader who can build and scale a high-performing sales team, cultivate strong client relationships, and drive the sales strategy to achieve ambitious growth targets.
Essential Job Functions
- Sales Leadership: Inspire and guide a talented sales team dedicated to acquiring new enterprise clients, providing mentorship and strategic direction to exceed sales objectives.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies and tactics to penetrate new markets, identify potential clients, and generate opportunities that align with company objectives.
- Customer Acquisition: Drive the end-to-end sales process from prospecting to closing deals, focusing on acquiring new logos and expanding our client base across targeted industries.
- Relationship Management: Cultivate and nurture relationships with senior decision-makers and stakeholders at prospective clients, understanding their business challenges and positioning our solutions effectively.
- Revenue Growth: Drive significant revenue growth through effective pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, and proactive sales strategies that capitalize on market trends and opportunities.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, and customer success to ensure alignment and support in delivering exceptional value to clients.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a directly related field.
- 10+ years of progress experience in enterprise B2B sales.
- 5+ years of experience in a leadership role focused on new business acquisition.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- MBA
- Demonstrated success in consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving substantial revenue growth in a complex sales environment and competitive markets.
- Strong leadership abilities with demonstrated ability in building and managing high-performing sales teams.
- Deep understanding of enterprise sales cycles, customer acquisition strategies, and negotiation techniques.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively at all levels including C-Suite.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in sales analytics, forecasting, and pipeline management tools.
- Experience in selling technology solutions or services.
- Established network of contacts and relationships within relevant industries.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to innovate and drive change in a rapidly evolving market landscape.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to identifying and capitalizing on growth opportunities in dynamic markets.
For location-specific compensation:
California - Anticipated compensation for this position is $250-300k base salary plus variable pay for a total target compensation of $500-550k. Actual offer may be outside of this range and will be determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data
