Kitchen Manager summary
Job duties include but not limited to:
- Managing all aspects of kitchen, food prep and service operations alongside General Manager.
- Responsible for accurate creation and presentation of all food items served to guests.
- Insure quality and accuracy in preparation of all menu items.
- Execute all paperwork associated with KM position.
- Learn and be able to execute all kitchen positions effectively with the ability to teach, and assist staff members.
- Manage back of house labor, meeting goals and guest requirements.
- Responsible for ordering, stocking and managing inventory levels and quality.
- Must maintain a professional and welcoming attitude while at work.
CERTIFICATE/LICENSES
- Food Manager’s Food Handler’s Certificate or ability to quickly obtain during training period.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Ascending or descending stairs, ramps and the like, using feet and legs and/or hands and arms while balancing a tray with one hand.
- Maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling when walking, standing or crouching between narrow, elevated and/or slippery walkways.
- Raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position to position.
- Constantly exert up to 40 pounds of force to lift, carry, pull, or otherwise move objects without hesitation.
