Description
Position Summary:
The purpose of this position is to confirm, review, analyze, and investigate all inventory related activity to ensure accuracy and maintain credibility of system information.
Description of Duties and Responsibilities / % of Time Spent performing Duties
Physical Inventory (Cycle Count) of all components: 25%
Research and Report Inventory Discrepancies: 25%
Print Cycle count tags and Entry of tags: 5%
Travel to Muncie Indiana, Greenfield Hitachi plants and research inventory discrepancies reported: 5%
Enter cycle count tag discrepancies into PSD system for tracking and countermeasures. Ensuring closure of PSD issued: 5%
Lead Physical Inventories and audits for CCN 1/CCN 3/CCN 7 activity and completions: 25%
Fork Truck Experience to pull product from Bin locations to count items: 5%
Other Duties as Assigned: 5%
Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, and Skills):

High School Diploma
-
Glovia experience
-
5 years warehouse experience and/or Inventory Control experience
Preferred Qualifications (Education, Experience, and Skills):
-
2 or 4 year College Degree in Related Field or equivalent experience and education
Skills and Abilities:

Ability to promote and carry out the Hitachi policy and procedures

Proven ability to follow policies, procedures and other written and verbal instructions, make sound business decisions, exercise good judgment, and perform job duties with minimal direct supervision

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, high level of accuracy

Performs situation analysis and takes action on issues impacting job responsibilities

Recommends cost and efficiency improvement ideas to management

Maintains clean and orderly work environment

Maintains knowledge of all processes, procedures, and equipment

Confers with and prepares reports for management related to inventory movement, value, and turns

Provides timely, regular communication to peers and management concerning job-related issues. Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of organization needed
Software:

Intermediate experience required in Windows, MSWord, Excel, PowerPoint, and Glovia

Advanced experience with Glovia preferred
