Key Responsibilities:
- ERP System Management:
- Dedicated management and point person of the Wherefore inventory system.
- Input SKU formulas and calculate ratios.
- Break down bulk quantities into finished product units.
- Verify monthly inventory counts to ensure system accuracy.
- Train and ensure adherence to the ERP system among staff.
- Strategic Inventory Management:
- Forecast, monitor, and optimize inventory levels to fuel our exponential growth and market expansion.
- Understand and manage lead times for various ingredients.
- Calculate reorder points and monitor inventory levels.
- Track and trace inventory for compliance purposes.
- Efficiently handle dead or expiring inventory.
- Purchase Order Excellence:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to generate precise purchase orders that support our rapid growth and market demands.
- Use WHEREFOUR to automate and manage purchase orders efficiently.
- Optimize vendor lead times to ensure seamless operations and uphold our commitment to excellence.
- Vendor Performance Mastery and Relationship Cultivation:
- Optimize vendor lead times to ensure seamless operations.
- Develop strategic vendor partnerships that drive mutual success and innovation.
- Sales Trend Insights:
- Analyze sales trends to identify opportunities and drive strategic decision-making.
- Use WHEREFOUR’s analytics tools to gain insights into sales data and trends.
- Data Collection and Analysis:
- Ensure accurate data input from various departments.
- Conduct physical inventory counts and manage scanning equipment.
- Create effective visualizations and reports for executive teams.
- Utilize business intelligence tools like Tableau for data analysis.
- Cost Analysis Expertise:
- Lead cost reduction initiatives to maximize profitability and fuel our growth trajectory.
- Operational Efficiency and Training:
- Perform labor step counts and analyze variances.
- Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements in the production line.
- Train and ensure adherence to the ERP system among staff.
- Communicate effectively with multiple departments, including finance and operations.
- Leadership and Supervision:
- Lead and manage a team to ensure proper data collection and system usage.
- Adapt to and learn the Wherefore system quickly.
- Provide leadership and maintain the system's integrity.
- Strategic Project Leadership:
- Drive cross-functional projects that propel our company forward and position us as industry leaders.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations, or Information Technology.
- Planning and Inventory Management Certification preferred
- Experience:
- 5 to 7 years of experience in inventory planning, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
- Experience in food, beverage, nutraceuticals, or other compliance-heavy industries.
- 2-4 years of hands-on experience in inventory planning and management.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in ERP or MRP systems, ideally a SaaS solution such as the Wherefore inventory system or similar.
- Strong data analysis skills and familiarity with business intelligence tools like Tableau.
- Proficiency in custom report development, KPI visualization, and advanced data analytics tools.
- Strong analytical skills and financial acumen.
- Knowledge of labeling techniques, including UPC codes and compliance data.
- Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets, Word/Google Docs, and basic data analysis.
