Circa Grill is seeking a highly enthusiastic food, beverage, and hospitality professional to join our team as Front of House Manager! This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a "service first" company with an emphasis on creative menus, exemplary customer service, and devotion to client experience.
Summary:
The Front of House Manager is responsible for the overall quality and profitability of the business with assistance from the Operating Partners/Head Chef. They strive for excellence in every facet of the guest experience and help create and maintain balanced, interesting, engaging, fun, and competitive standards in the food, beverage, service, and hospitality programs. They will oversee and coordinate the operations of the business by leading building upkeep, team education, catering events, sales/cost reports, guest satisfaction/relationships and inventory control.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Plan and direct daily operations at Circa Grill.
Expected to address and delegate restaurant maintenance regarding cleanliness, damage, upkeep, and overall problems with the property.
Create weekly staffing schedules for all front of house service staff members
Responsible for the coverage of all front of house shifts for all related Circa Grill positions as needed/directed.
Make sure all opening and closing procedures/checklists of outlets and events are adhered to.
Hire, monitor training, supervise, develop, discipline, counsel and evaluate employees.
Maintain cleanliness standards and compliance for the state and county Health Department & brand standards.
Work with the Operating Partner and fellow management to establish standards for personnel performance and customer service.
Organize and direct worker training programs, resolve personnel problems, hire new staff, and evaluate employee performance.
Review work procedures and operational problems to determine ways to improve service, performance, or safety.
Hospitality Duties:
Regularly review, evaluate, and respond to customer satisfaction and/or dissatisfaction during service.
Ensure that all complaints regarding food quality, service, or accommodation are investigated and resolved as directed by the Operating Partner.
Nightly oversight of comps, voids, and purchases at the end of each shift.
Managerial Duties:
Monitor all cash handling within the petty cash, bar drawers and server vouchers.
Monitor food and beverage transactions by spot checking activities in the restaurant by referring to nightly sales paperwork.
Ensure compliance with company standards, federal and state laws and regulations.
Coordinate with fellow management to check delivery contents to verify product quality and quantity if/ when delivered.
Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas to ensure efficient service to maintain standards.
Responsible for the upkeep and inventory of FOH supplies.
Perform other duties as requested by the Operating Partners.
Control and direct guest flow along with communication between the FOH and BOH.
