Job Summary
This role will be responsible for liaising with tax equity investors, cash equity investors, and debt partners for residential and commercial solar funds. This position will work cross functionally between Accounting, Finance, and Operations to provide required and ad hoc reporting to investors and lenders. A successful candidate will have strong data-driven financial analysis skills, while also possessing the ability to present findings to key stakeholders.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Track, compile and help prepare monthly and quarterly reporting deliverables for internal stakeholders, and external debt and equity partners

Work alongside Project Finance team to transition post-transaction close ownership of Fund compliance to Financing Reporting team

Manage Fund legal documents to meet all stated requirements, including distributions of available cash flow, reporting deliverables, debt service coverage ratio calculations, etc.

Develop annual budgets and track budget-to-actual performance of solar Funds, while analyzing and explaining variances

Work collaboratively with Solar Operations teams to gather and analyze project performance data critical to cash flow generation.

Maintain fund tracking models, and report on variances to budgeted return expectations.

Gain an understanding of the bi-weekly asset sale and funding process; potentially serve as a backup to financial analysts to complete process steps

Prepare investor presentation materials and participate in periodic reporting calls

Handle ad hoc requests from outside investors and lenders with utmost timeliness

Ad hoc projects as assigned.

Proven ability reading and interpreting legal contracts independently from counsel.

Minimum Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related business field.

2-3 years of progressive work experience in finance, renewable energy, or investor relations

While this is a remote opportunity, occasional travel to IGS’ home office in Dublin, OH will be required (<10%); potential travel to Investor site locations may be required on an ad hoc basis.
Salary Range:
$78,290.00 - $125,260.00
- This range reflects base pay only. Incentive earnings, like commissions or bonuses, are not included.
This role is also eligible for an annual incentive plan based on company performance.
