Summary
The SAP FICO Analyst will be responsible for designing, configuring, testing, and maintaining the financial components of our core SAP S/4 Hana system. The analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze business requirements, and implement solutions to enhance and optimize SAP functionalities. The role requires a deep understanding of SAP core modules, cross functional business processes and design with particular focus on support of requirements from the leadership of our Finance and Accounting business teams. The role requires the ability to work directly with our development team when custom development is required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Configure SAP FI and CO modules based on business requirements.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
Document business processes and translate them into SAP functional specifications.
Collaborate with functional consultants to integrate SAP modules and third-party systems.
Provide ongoing support and maintenance for SAP FICO modules.
Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions.
Develop and execute test plans to ensure system functionality and performance.
Create training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users.
Assist users in understanding and using SAP FICO functionalities effectively.
Develop and maintain financial reports using SAP reporting tools (e.g., SAP Query, Report Painter).

Education and/or Experience:
Required: Minimum 5 years of SAP experience including:
SAP Cross functional (MM/FICO/SD/WM)
Configuration experience
Full life-cycle implementation of SAP-ECC or SAP-S/4 Hana
Preferred Experience:
Designing and developing integration strategies with 3rd party systems
Monitoring and troubleshooting of data interfaces
Order-to-cash cycle including deep familiarity with SD pricing conditions and pricing procedure
Electronic Bank Statement
S/4 Hana
Fiori
Background as teammate on an accounting team active in periodic close cycle.
Active Participation in S4 Conversion project
Computer Skills
