Forklift operators are responsible for operating and managing industrial trucks to load and unload materials and deliveries and move them to and from storage areas, machines and loading docks, into railroad cars or trucks or storage facilities
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Duties/Responsibilities:

Move goods packed on pallets, gaylords, or in supersacks around the storage facility

Stacking goods in the correct storage manner, following inventory control instructions

Performing the Daily Forklift Inspection Form

Removing machine attachments and waste material from machines
-
Pulls product from the warehouse for shipment to the customers
-
Wraps order on pallet for shipment if necessary
-
Load and unload products from trailers using forklift trucks and other material handling equipment
-
Deliver products to various units in safely and timely manner
-
Sort, pack, wrap, tie and label products as per company procedures
-
Weigh products and record weight and other data in product labels
-
Monitor and maintain accurate inventory
-
Clean work area and equipment regularly by removing empty pallets, wood and plastic
-
Maintain material handling equipment by recharging and cleaning
-
Study production schedule to determine material requirements, movements and deliveries
-
Load Bulk Trucks and Railcars using the Fall Arrest System and a harness
-
Other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:

Scanner experience
-
Fork Lift Certification
-
Must be comfortable and able to function at heights > 10ft
Education and Experience:
