Tom Hesser Dealerships has an opening for an experienced Human Resources Generalist at our Chevrolet/BMW dealership. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of Human Resources experience. The Human Resources Generalist works closely with all Department Managers and reports directly to the General Manager.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Managing the onboarding process for all new hires.
- Process and submit company payroll through Paylocity payroll system.
- Responsible for employee needs related to payroll and benefit questions/concerns.
- Manage all unemployment claims.
- Support compliance with Federal, State and Local employment laws & regulations.
- Establish & maintain employee's personnel files.
- Manage labor relations between employees & management.
- Administer benefits and worker's compensation programs.
- Assist with month end journal entries and closing.
- Cut accounts payable checks through CDK accounting system.
- Process & submit service warranty claims.
- Administer company benefits programs.
- Assist in writing company personnel policies.
- Assist Receptionist with answering calls and cashiering.
Desired Skills And Experience
- 3-5 years of Human Resources experience, preferably in a management capacity.
- Experience with Paylocity payroll system.
- Must possess a high level of initiative and willingness to learn.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to positively work well with others toward a common goal.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills.

Schedule
- Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
