Who we are: We are a (currently) small, yet dynamic program providing support, intervention and education to children with sensory and motor differences. Our holistic model offers neurologically-based therapeutic care and is driven by a scientifically-based platform and an unmatched level of heart and dedication.
We prioritize creating a supportive learning environment where children with high support needs can feel nurtured and encouraged to explore their potential. We understand the importance of utilizing both challenge and compassion in fostering growth and development.
What we’re looking for: We are looking for someone who thinks creatively, progressively and is looking to be a part of something special. This is a very active, engaging and stimulating position that can be both incredibly fulfilling and at times, challenging.
Within the context of a close knit, multi-disciplinary team, this role takes on the responsibility of providing direct therapeutic support for a child to access their communication skills and work towards achieving their goals in all areas. There is a lot of ongoing support and collaboration with other team members, family members and therapeutic providers. Tracking progress is important to us, so this position also requires some data to be taken.
The right person for this job is one who is very patient, loving, enjoys being active, values clear communication and who likes to think on their feet and engage in some creative problem solving. We provide training for all aspects of this position.
Previous experience is not required, though it can be beneficial. This is a fantastic environment if you’ve worked with children with different support needs in the past (i.e., special education, ABA etc.) and are looking to grow and expand your expertise.
