Quincy College is seeking full-time faculty to teach in the Associate of Science Degree in Nursing and Certificate of Practical Nursing for upcoming programs. Full-time faculty opportunities exist in Concepts of Complex Nursing Care (ASN) and Concepts of Adult health I & II (PN). Faculty are responsible for teaching in the classroom and nursing laboratory, along with clinical supervision/oversight. Develop, modifying, and assessing curricula; continuously improving teaching methodology and student-centered learning; staying current in the field; advising and students; participating with other faculty in developing and managing courses, curricula, and academic policy; participating in department and college activities, including committee work. Participation in regulatory activities, professional development, and other professional duties related to the position that contribute to the success of the college.
Job Requirements:
REQUIREMENTS:
- Master's degrees in nursing from an accredited college or university is required, preferably in Nursing Education. A Doctoral degree preferred.

Current licensure in good standing as a registered nurse in Massachusetts required;

Minimum of two years full-time employment in nursing or its equivalent within the past five years and evidence of clinical competence in area of instruction required;

Laboratory and/or clinical simulation teaching experience preferred;

Experience in curriculum development, use of multimedia teaching strategies, and assessment of learning including test construction is preferred;

Current CPR certification;

Ability to meet clinical site CORI requirements pursuant to licensing;

Immunizations required

Ability to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodations.

Local travel including to our campus locations required.
