The Opportunity
Under the direction of the Director of Property Relations and in collaboration with all team members at First Place, the Concierge staff will work together to uphold excelling customer service to residents, staff and guests of First Place.
Who you are
You have a passion for and experience in providing excelling customer service. You have experience working with a neurodiverse population – specifically modeling and/or prompting individuals with autism or other neurodiversities when performing independent living skills and experience with supportive decision making.

What you’ll do
· Monitor activities and perform the following duties at the front desk located in the lobby of the First Place Apartments:
o Monitor/ensure security of main entrance
o Grant access into the building
o Accept and distribute mail, packages, and deliveries (USPS, UPS, FedEx, groceries, etc.)
o Manage the check-in and check-out of all visitors
o Answer phone
o Communicate the arrival of visitors to appropriate staff and/or residents using internal phone system
o Monitor direct notifications/alerts from resident units
o Address all inquiries and forward to appropriate party
o Provide directions/navigation instructions to assist residents and visitors in locating on-site and community destinations
o Coordinate with shift staff any identified support/service needs of residents
o Provide consistent, excellent customer service to residents, families, co-workers and visitors.
o Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This role has no supervisory responsibilities.
What you’ll bring

- High school diploma or G.E.D. required.
- Minimum one year of experience in customer service.
- Outstanding references from previous employers.

What to expect
The position takes place in an office environment. Exposure to varying temperatures and weather elements can apply. The noise level ranges from quiet to moderate. This is a safety-sensitive position.
