`Overview:
As an Electrical Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of our electrical equipment and supplies warehouse. You will play a crucial role in managing inventory, coordinating shipments, and ensuring a well-organized and safe warehouse environment. This position requires strong organizational and leadership skills, along with a deep understanding of electrical products.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Inventory Management:
- Monitor stock levels, reorder products as necessary, and manage inventory turnover.
2. Team Management:
- Lead and supervise warehouse personnel, including staff recruitment and training.
- Schedule and assign tasks to ensure a smooth workflow, manage workload, and meet deadlines.
3. Quality Control:
- Ensure the quality and integrity of electrical products by conducting regular inspections.
4. Shipping and Receiving:
- Coordinate and oversee the receipt and dispatch of electrical supplies, including handling shipping documentation.
- Ensure shipments are accurate, on time, and in compliance with safety regulations.
5. Safety Compliance:
- Promote a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols, conducting regular safety training, and addressing any hazards promptly.
- Stay up to date with electrical safety regulations and implement best practices.
6. Equipment Maintenance:
- Manage the maintenance and repair of warehouse equipment and machinery to ensure optimal functionality.
7. Reporting and Documentation:
- Generate reports on inventory, order status, and warehouse performance.
8. Cost Control:
- Optimize warehouse operations to reduce costs while maintaining quality and efficiency.
- Manage the budget for warehouse expenses, such as labor, equipment, and supplies.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in warehouse management, especially in the electrical or construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of electrical products, equipment, and safety standards.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized warehouse.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and safety standards related to electrical products.
