Position Highlights
- Manufacturing Manager
- A Full-Time / Direct Hire opportunity
- Report on-site during the work week.
- Manage the CNC Machining department which includes Supervisors and Machinists
- Developing & improving processes and procedures.
Background Requirements
- Degree in Engineering
- 7+ years minimum working in a production environment related to high-precision machining.
- 3+ years’ experience in Management, preferably with 5 or more direct reports.
- Very knowledgeable in ISO and AS quality standards
- Experience with ERP and CAD/CAM software (i.e.- Solidworks, MTM, etc.)
- Knowledge in 5-Axis CNC Machining (milling, turning)
- Strong GD&T and drawing interpretation skills.
- Very organized.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement production schedules for manufacturing operations.
- Implement Best Practices, Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing
- Collaborate with other department managers to ensure timely availably of raw materials and components.
- Manage CNC dept (80 individuals in dept)
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations in machining operations.
- Provide effective communication to all teams involved in the process.
- Understanding of budgeting and financial principles to manage costs effectively.
- Analytical mindset to identify and resolve machining challenges.
