Position Summary
Provide support for Children’s Tuition Fund program on behalf of participating schools, individuals, businesses, and individual account holders. Provide finance and general office support.
This is a full time remote position working 40 hours per week. Work will be performed from a home office anywhere in the contiguous United States. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities

Maintain integrated database of business and individual donors, contributions, schools, and student recipients of the Children’s Tuition Fund in assigned states

Process individual student accounts as submitted to Children’s Tuition Fund, when applicable

Process business contributions to the Children’s Tuition Fund, provide the required receipt to the business, and notify designated school

Prepare and distribute scholarship funds to account-holders for educational expenses

Develop, prepare, and distribute Children’s Tuition Fund program information to schools and businesses

Maintain Children’s Tuition Fund financial records and submit reports to the state(s) and ACSI Headquarters

Process online business applications with applicable state agency; track and maintain business application information

Respond to all types of inbound inquiries, requests, and concerns from schools, donors, parents, government representatives, and vendors in a professional and timely manner via phone, email, or web chat

Provide assistance to businesses by helping them complete applications, processing contributions, and answering questions

Prepare and submit applications for approval of the Children’s Tuition Fund as a scholarship organization in assigned states

Process check requests sent to ACSI Headquarters for assigned state; provide backup information as required

Oversee the recording of payments by cash, checks and credit cards for assigned states

Process credit card payments through on-line processing software
-
All other duties as assigned
Compensation and Benefits
Starting Rate: $19.66 to $22.50 per hour; based on work experience, education, training, knowledge, skills, and internal and external equity.

Required Experience and Education

Three or more years of administrative, bank, finance, financial aid, or related experience

High school diploma or equivalent

Strong financial background in bookkeeping, reconciliation of accounts, spreadsheets

Knowledge of tax credit programs preferred

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and databases

Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills and the ability to work and communicate well with all levels of ACSI management and staff and external parties

Ability to problem-solve and multi-task effectively

Strong organization skills
Physical Demands and Work Environment

Professional remote work environment in which to conduct videoconferences and phone calls

Ability and willingness to travel up to 5% by plane or automobile occasionally
- Driver’s License required to be kept current and in effect as a condition of employment
