JOB OVERVIEW:
The Hotel Director of IT will be a crucial member of our Operations Team, responsible for supporting and executing the company’s technology vision. The Director of IT serves as an expert technical resource, working with the hotel’s various teams and IT vendors to solve complex technology-related problems, manage application and system processes, and conduct research and analysis to provide better solutions, technology integration, and system improvements. This role will report to The Dominick’s General Manager and CIM (Ownership) Corporate Director of Hospitality Services.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Working knowledge of hotel systems and interfaces
- 5 years’ experience managing hotel systems across multiple properties
Skills relevant to this role:
- Intimate knowledge of the organization’s core computing systems
- Ability to explain complex ideas to those with limited IT and systems knowledge
- Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical and process improvement skills
- Proven project management and budgeting skills.
- Demonstrated written, verbal and presentation skills that translate a technology focus into business language.
- Experienced with 24x7 data center operations.
The following certifications or equivalent experience are highly desirable:
- MCSE Certification or equivalent experience.
- CCNE Certification or equivalent experience.
- The ability to follow payroll and key sign out procedures.
- The ability to offer any assistance possible to guests.
- The ability to respond properly to any hotel emergency or safety situation.
- The ability to perform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management and staff.
- Comply with TIHTC work rules and standards per the associate handbook and as directed by management.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide high-level of support for all production systems
- Plan and execute hotel technology projects in partnership with hotel leadership teams (e.g., PMS installation, POS upgrade, guest wireless installation, etc.)
- Effectively manage all aspects of cyber security for the hotel, with assistance from the corporate office
- Develop multi-year operating and capital budgets
- Partner with business leaders to develop an enterprise data strategy
- Maintain, improve, and coordinate testing for systems and applications
- Identify automation opportunities and deliver written solution improvement recommendations
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve outages and technical issues, providing technical support to teams within the hotel
- Write clear and well-structured business requirements/documents
- Prepare maintenance plans and upgrade schedules for the hotel’s systems
Applying technical expertise in the following areas to support of the hotel systems:
- Microsoft Windows Server Operating system and networking features.
- Microsoft SQL server implementation, security, maintenance, and backup
- TCP/IP networks and routing.
- Manage Firewalls.
- Exchange and Google Apps
- Manage License/Certificate
- Cisco Infrastructure Management

Pay: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
