Who Are We?

Harbor Christian Academy has three core distinctives: We are classical, we are Christian, and we are urban. By classical, we mean that we follow the time-honored educational tradition of grammar, logic, and rhetoric. We read the Great Texts, and we engage with the great questions of humanity. By Christian, we mean that knowing and pursuing Christ is the beginning of all of our academic endeavors. The Bible is not an isolated subject; rather, it is the foundation for everything that we learn. By urban, we mean that Harbor Christian Academy is of and for the city of Houston. Houston is the great international city of the 21st century, and we reflect that in our school community.
