Latin American Technology company headquartered in Doral, FL, is seeking an Accounting Assistant to join their finance team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel to contribute to the company's financial operations.

Responsibilities:
- Analyze and process incoming financial transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
- Verify financial data to ensure compliance with accounting standards and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors to escalate and resolve any discrepancies or issues impacting financial data.
- Perform clerical duties such as electronic filing, organizing financial documents, and responding to internal inquiries.
- Maintain daily and weekly financial logs and filing systems for documentation.
- Develop and maintain financial spreadsheets and reports using MS Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
- Assist in tracking financial transactions and reconciliations.
- Provide status updates to supervisors regarding financial data processing.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions such as pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude and willingness to adapt to a dynamic work environment.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Familiarity with accounting software is a plus.

Additional Details:
- Hours: 8:30 am to 5:30 pm (punctuality and attendance are very important)
- Pay Rate: $21.00 to $23.00 an hour
- Location: Doral, FL (not remote)
- Long Term Contract: 1 year plus temp.
