Prepare Low-Level Design Documents, including CIQ, DNP, and TPD. Identify interfaces, IP addresses, ports, and hostnames, adding diagrams and reference tables as needed. Review and update documents to ensure accuracy and obtain final sign-off from Nokia.
Perform software installations for vertical integration. Download and analyze software release notes, ensure compatibility, prepare installation procedures, and conduct acceptance tests. Connect Netnumber nodes with Cloud or Bare Metal, ensuring all applications perform correctly. Rollback installations if necessary and perform root cause analysis for failures.
Integrate Netnumber with other network nodes, enabling all required features as specified in the high-level design (HLD). Ensure successful integration by collecting logs and coordinating with subject matter experts to restore system functionality if needed.
Create and execute detailed test plans for Netnumber integration. Participate in design review meetings, create necessary test data, conduct tests, and record updates and defects. Provide daily testing status reports and a comprehensive summary upon completion.
Analyze, install, and verify software patches, ensuring compatibility with the current solution. Update installation procedures, conduct acceptance tests, and perform rollbacks if necessary. Monitor the system to ensure proper functionality after patch installation.
Prepare for and execute software upgrades, ensuring compatibility and conducting pre-checks. Perform the upgrade, monitor system stability, and execute acceptance tests. Provide detailed pre- and post-upgrade reports and perform root cause analysis for any issues.
Author and test Method of Procedure (MOP) documents for lab and production tasks. Maintain lab equipment, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the lab is updated to the latest software levels. Support troubleshooting in customer labs and reproduce issues seen in production.
