Overview:
Small family owned restaurant for 20+ years. Looking for a person that can cook on the grill, short order type tickets. Be able to prep, slice, do dishes, mop, and learn register to ring up customers.
Duties:
- Prepare and cook menu items in compliance with established recipes and guidelines
- Ensure food quality and presentation meet the highest standards
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Monitor food supplies and communicate inventory needs to the appropriate personnel
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient food production
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation procedures
Skills:
- Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or food service setting
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Required/Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Proficiency in food handling techniques
- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting
- Willingness to assist with various kitchen tasks
- Familiarity with knife skills and kitchen equipment operation
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
