JOB OVERVIEW
Perkins Properties is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Property Manager to join our team and oversee the management and operations of our retail, office, and multi-family properties across the Midwest. As a Senior Property Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing our portfolio of commercial properties, ensuring their smooth operations and maximizing their profitability. This is a dynamic role that requires excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as a strong understanding of commercial real estate.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage all aspects of commercial property operations, including leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations.
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards.
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize occupancy rates and rental income.
- Handle tenant inquiries, complaints, and requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors for property repairs and maintenance.
- Negotiate lease agreements, renewals, and terminations.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and codes.
- Maintain accurate records of property financials, expenses, and budgets.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about current trends and competition.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in commercial property management.
- Knowledge of industry techniques to maximize rental income.
- Strong familiarity and experience with CAM reconcilliations.
- Proficient in data entry and computer software applications.
- Excellent customer relationship management skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate with tenants, contractors, and vendors.
- Experience with office administration and legal documentation.
- Experience with Construction Management.
- Familiarity with MRI or other property management software is a plus.
