POSITION SUMMARY
The Logistics Coordinator works with branch personnel on physical management and movement of inventory in company ERP and warehouses. Will monitor that all warehouses are adhering to policies according to established inventory management company guidelines. They will work to optimize supply chain distribution processes for efficiency and profitability. Coordinates with 3rd Party freight management vendors and freight carriers to optimize our freight logistics.
Job Duties and Responsibilities :
- Collaborates with Warehouse and Operations Managers in organization on physical management of Inventory and warehouse logistical processes.
- Maintains Physical bin locations and mapping in ERP and assists branches with changes.
- Assist with physical inventories and branch inventory audits.
- Involved in implementing of inventory management systems.
- Monitor and track cycle counting compliance and accuracy
- Plan and coordinate logistics of hub/spoke inventory movement
- Work with 3rd party logistics vendor on freight optimization and shipment issue resolution
- Develop processes that make the supply chain more efficient and organized
- Expertly utilizes the appropriate tools to optimize in-stock and minimize unproductive inventories.
- Keeps management updated on current projects and problems.
- Purchase products, as needed
- Evaluate slow moving inventory (< 4 turns/year) for all product lines.
- Plan around and maintain slow moving inventory processes.

Education: High School Graduate; college/industry related courses or undergraduate degree preferred
Experience: Two years+ warehouse and/or transportation logistics experience preferred

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
