Location & Hours:
This full-time position is based at the PMI headquarters located in the Thanksgiving Point area of Lehi, Utah. Candidates residing within a reasonable driving distance from the office will be considered. The work hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Job Description:
PMI is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Accountant. This full-time role provides an excellent opportunity for aspiring accountants to work closely with senior financial leaders, including the Controller and CFO, on a variety of impactful projects. The selected candidate will support various accounting functions and contribute to the financial health and strategic growth of our rapidly expanding organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records, including preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports.
- Support the accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment tracking, and collections.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Conduct research and analysis on financial discrepancies, trends, and variances to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by the Controller and CFO.
- Support the implementation and optimization of financial systems and processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices, with a keen interest in pursuing a career in accounting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant accounting software applications.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
