Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and analysis on various issues related to ongoing litigation cases
- Prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Represent clients in court hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings
- Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients
- Collaborate with colleagues and experts to build strong cases
- Maintain accurate and organized case files
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to the practice area
- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients
Experience:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in the jurisdiction
- Proven experience in litigation, preferably with a focus on civil litigation
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Familiarity with legal drafting and court procedures
- Proficiency in using legal research platforms such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously
