Job Description:
As a licensed mental health therapist with Okerberg & Associates, you'll have the opportunity to set your own hours and work with a diverse clientele across multiple locations. We're looking for a self-motivated team player who is comfortable with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, scheduling programs, telehealth, and coordination communication with remote administrative staff. You'll be responsible for providing therapy sessions, conducting timely electronic notes, and collaborating with our team to ensure high-quality care for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual, couples, group, and family therapy sessions using our distinct hands-on, experience-based approach.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation of client sessions by entering accurate electronic notes in EMR systems within a reasonable timeline.
- Collaborate with remote staff and other team members to coordinate client care, scheduling, billing, and ensure effective communication.
- Meet a minimum of 25 client sessions per week, with the flexibility to schedule sessions according to your availability.
- Actively participate in marketing efforts and community outreach to promote our services and attract new clients.
- Adhere to ethical guidelines and maintain client confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW), or Therapist (t-LMHC) with supervision.
- Experience or training in trauma-informed therapy and/or equine therapy preferred.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices on EMR systems, scheduling programs, and remote communication tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous improvement.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients.
