PAS SUPERVISOR / FACILITY SCHEDULER
ALR Staffing and Senior Buddies, LLC are part of a San Antonio based In-Home private care and Staffing services company for Seniors. We are seeking a well qualified PAS Supervisor / Scheduler to join our team. We offer Competitive pay based on experience with upward mobility.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Preferably possess an high school diploma, associates degree or better.
. Scheduling experience is a must.
· Must have experience in a caregiving role in an In-home, health care facility or related field.
· Must have reliable transportation.
· Must have valid and current personal auto liability insurance.
· Must have a current Driver’s License.
SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:
· Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
· Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such
action.
· Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel and the general public.
· Must have training in health care or community-based agency.
· Must be knowledgeable or willing to learn the laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to
PAS administration.
· Must demonstrate proven decision making and problem solving skills.
· Must have knowledge in elderly care.
PAS SUPERVISOR / SCHEDULER RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Caregiving: Provide personal assistance to the agency
clients / Scheduling: placing agency caregivers into private client cases:
- Able to work any shift in a caregiver capacity.
- Able to work the cottages on our Independent living campus campus. (all shifts)
- Be the first to sit on a new case. Assess the case for
training of the assigned caregivers.
On call: must have flexible availability
- Availability- Must be available to help solve scheduling problems,
- Carry the on-call phone as required.
- Find coverage for scheduled shifts.
- In the event that there is no caregiver available to make a scheduled shift.
Understand Axiscare Scheduling Software:
- Learn Axiscare software. Must be able to make schedule
changes. Look up information for the caregivers and
clients.
Training:
- Training new caregivers on new cases.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Working with NetCE training software. Create our own training
materials for our caregivers.
- Assess case w/possibility to increase hours.
· Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team, client/family and referring agency.
· Perform duties in an office environment during operating hours.
· Record all incidents / accidents. File in accordance with established policies and procedures.
· If required to provide client services, may work in clients home or facility in various conditions;
possible exposure to blood and bodily fluids and infectious diseases.
· Must meet deadlines and client needs.
· Must make quick decisions and resource acquisition.
· Must meet client/family individualized psychosocial needs.
· Attend and participate in mandatory facility in-service training programs as scheduled (e.g.,
OSHA, TB, HIPAA, Abuse Prevention, etc.)
· Must, if necessary, work extended hour variations of usual business hours to ensure care of
clients and quality of services to the community.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
