Job Title: Paraplanner
Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Paraplanner to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in providing comprehensive financial planning services to our clients. As a Paraplanner, you will play a crucial role in supporting our financial advisors by conducting research, analyzing data, and preparing financial plans.
Position Summary: This position will provide financial plan support to two financial advisors by collecting and analyzing client financial data, developing recommendations, and using a variety of software and planning tools, with a strong emphasis on analysis, organization, tracking follow-up items, client service and professionalism.
Responsibilities.
- Preparing financial analyses and financial plans for clients
- Conducting investment research, reporting and analysis
- Utilize financial planning software to prepare documents for client meetings
- Onboard clients into money management software
- Participate in client meetings to take detailed notes and answer questions about financial plans
- Preparing support materials and reports for advisors
- Ensure that data is accurately entered and managed within the company’s CRM
- Ability to measure the business and submit weekly progress reports
- Follow compliance requirements for the broker-dealer
- Meet with advisor regularly to review appointments and cases
- Assist with the creation and implementation of workflows and procedures to improve efficiency and enhance client experience
- The ability and confidence to build a relationship with clients and prospective clients
- Possess an extremely professional attitude and acumen
- Proactive communication with advisors
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient with Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Effective time management skills
- Ability to excel in a competitive, team-oriented environment.
- Problem solving skills, resourceful and effective in making decisions.
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Minimum 2 years experience in the financial planning field
