The Support Specialist will support plant floor technology in a manufacturing environment to include tablets, mobile printers, label printers, PCs, and scanners. Support of various software used in the office includes a document management system, accounting software, and Office 365. The qualified candidate will be eager to learn new technologies and techniques as well as display enthusiasm for helping others. Any prior experience in a manufacturing environment with the equipment and software listed is helpful to the selection process.

Provide intermediate level technical support functions both onsite and remote.

Set-up and troubleshoot PC's, printers, scanners, tablets, mobile phones, wireless access points.

Utilizes the ticketing system to receive, prioritize, and respond to support requests.

Experienced with Active Directory and MS Office 365.

Strong work ethic and organizational skills.

Good communication skills.

Ability to create and maintain detailed documentation.

Once a month week-long rotating on-call shift which includes Saturdays and night shift hours.

Performs other related job duties and training as assigned.

High school or equivalent (required).

Associate degree in an IT concentration or minimum two years of work experience in an IT environment with an emphasis on hardware and application support (preferred).

Windows: 2+ years (preferred).

Technical support functions: 2+ years (preferred).

A+, Network+, Microsoft Certifications a plus.

Must be able to lift 30 lbs. unassisted and climb ladders.
