Summary of essential job functions:
· Provide highest level of golf service to the members of San Diego Country Club and our respective guests from their arrival to their departure. This includes but not limited to: bag drop / valet service, downstairs golf cart staging, driving range / practice facilities, and upon completion of members’ rounds at golf cart return.
· Responsible for maintaining bag room club storage, ensuring member and guest golf clubs are clean and safely stored.
· Restocking towels, sand bottles, tees, pencils, and ball markers in the start boxes on holes 1, 10, and on course or the driving range as needed.
· Responsible for upkeep of driving range, short game area, and golf service operations equipment; pick up and clean, constantly maintain sufficient supply, and store properly.
· Responsible for golf cart staging, loading of member and guest clubs on carts prior to and after their rounds of golf or practice.
· Responsible for upkeep of ball washer and practice ball cleaning, keeping machines and surrounding areas clean, constantly filling machine with clean golf balls.
· Responsible for maintenance, cleanliness, and upkeep of SDCC push carts.
· Storage, cleaning, and maintenance of members push carts and electric push carts.
· Responsible for the upkeep, cleaning, stocking, secure storage, and charging of SDCC golf cart fleet and rental carts as needed.
· Wash driving range carts; report all needed repairs of carts to the supervisor as soon as possible.
· Transport carts from storage to staging area and vice versa; park carts neatly and safely; keep storage area clean and free of trash; routinely rotate carts.
· Return all lost and found items to the Golf Shop.
· Routinely scout entire Clubhouse and driving area for trash.
· Assist members with wet towels for their round of golf, as well as scented hand towels for post golf cleaning of hands and face.
· Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
· Responsible for cleaning members and guests’ golf clubs prior to and after their round, as well as at the driving range prior to play.
· Responsible for keeping driving range stalls fully stocked with balls and stations neat throughout the day, catering to any other members or guests requests as pertaining to outside golf service.
· Assistance with upkeep of course during down periods; repairing ball marks on greens, filling divots on course, and picking up broken tees on tee boxes.
· Being visible and attentive from the moment a member or guest arrives at the Club to their departure from the Club following the round.
· Clubhouse valet service at Clubhouse entrance and bag drop. Meeting, greeting all members and guests upon arrival to club with warm welcome, smile, and last name recognition.

· Must be able to stand for long periods of time, walk, crouch, and climb stairs.
· Must be able to occasionally lift/move 20-50 lbs.
Compensation (Dependent on Experience): $16.00-$17.00, DOE
