Position Summary: Monday thru Friday with a lot of room for overtime. Hours vary and may change. Assist in all aspects of lamination. Support the company goals for delivery of goods and services. Will be working on a laminate roll machine and forklift.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
- Build and maintain quality relations with lamination coworkers.
- Inspect laminated material and look for damaged goods.
- Unload and examine incoming shipments according to receiving documents for discrepancies and damaged goods.
- Maintain, organize and replenish warehouse racks; keep area clean and orderly at all times.
- Pulling will calls promptly.
- Make sure all order numbers are correct, if not change them to the correct order number.
- Pull transfers between branches correctly.
- Banding all order numbers together.
- Preparing laminate shipments to go out.
- Operate standard warehouse equipment such as a forklift machine and electric scale.
- Help maintain all equipment to ensure smooth processing of laminated materials.
- Work closely with warehouse staff to make sure special orders are laminated and completed in a timely manner.
- Treat warehouse coworkers in an ethical and professional manner.
- Keeps supervisor/manager informed of any obstacles that affect performance of duties.
- Maintain a professional working relationship with fellow employees.
- Report all accidents/incidents to administration and/or human resources and complete the Accident Report form on the same day of the occurrence.
- Work well and effectively under minimal supervision.
- Report all safety hazards to supervisor.
- Abide by company’s policies and practices as noted in the Employee Handbook.

Education/Experience
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Class C license required
- Forklift Knowledge
- Experience on some touch freight and secure freight by hand
- Curtain side trailers experience helpful
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen (safety sensitive position).
- Basic knowledge of safety equipment and safety procedures.
Physical Demands
The position requires pushing, pulling, and lifting materials not exceeding 50 pounds. Any workload exceeding 51-60 pounds will require assistance. Requires grasping, writing, standing, reaching, sitting, lifting, squatting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening, and hearing ability and visual acuity. Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with employees, clients, vendors, and the general public. Must have the ability to hear warning horns or sirens. Vision occurs continuously with the most common visual functions being those of near and far visions. Requires manual and finger dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.
Working Conditions
The position requires one to work Monday thru Friday and with a set schedule of hours to meet the shifting needs of the Company. There may be exposure to some potentially toxic substances, such as cleaning agents, fuel, and oil. Frequent contact with employees, clients, vendors, and the general public.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
