Responsibilities:
Design and develop mediation functions to support data collection, transformation, and aggregation.
Implement and configure mediation platforms to meet specific project requirements.
Integrate mediation systems with external data sources and network elements.
Perform system testing, validation, and troubleshooting of mediation functions.
Optimize performance and scalability of mediation systems to handle large volumes of data.
Collaborate with software developers, system engineers, and network architects to ensure cohesive system
design and implementation.
Document design specifications, deployment procedures, and operational guidelines.
Provide technical support and training to internal teams and customers on mediation systems.
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices related to mediation and telecommunications
technologies.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field (Master’s degree
preferred).
Proven experience as a Mediation Engineer, Software Engineer, or similar role in the telecommunications industry.
Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++.
Experience with mediation platforms and protocols (e.g., Diameter, RADIUS, SIP).
Knowledge of database systems and SQL queries.
Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, SNMP).
Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or similar.
Experience with mediation platforms and tools (e.g., Apache Camel, MuleSoft, IBM Integration Bus).
Solid understanding of API design, microservices architecture, and enterprise integration patterns.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in relevant technologies (e.g., Oracle DBA, Cisco CCNA).
Experience with cloud platforms and virtualization technologies.
Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices in telecommunications.
Experience with agile development methodologies.
Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
