Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center located in Manhattan is seeking an individual with strong leadership and communication skills to direct and supervise all operations of the dietary department.
Knowledge of regulatory compliance, food safety, sanitation and overall workplace standard a must. Knowledge of staffing, scheduling, payroll management are required. Duties include ordering and purchasing of food and equipment and planning menus and supervising staff.
Responsible for company-mandated raw food, supplies, and payroll budgets.
Knowledgeable of production procedures, recipes, and therapeutic diets.
Qualified candidate should be a Certified Dietary Manager or have an equivalent certification degree along with Safe Serve certification.
Minimum 3-5 years managing food service department in long term care facility.
