Director of Facilities Operations
As our Director of Facilities Operations, you will lead our skilled maintenance team and oversee the facilities and grounds maintenance for more than 20 premier veterinary clinics across metro Detroit, Adrian, and Lansing. This pivotal role merges community engagement with operational excellence, enabling direct impact and enhancement at each clinic under our stewardship.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor a dynamic maintenance team, driving operational efficiency and excellence.

Oversee all aspects of facilities management, including maintenance projects, renovations, and grounds upkeep.

Engage in hands-on maintenance work, performing routine tasks such as repairs, inspections, and renovations to ensure high standards of cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

Conduct regular inspections and implement preventive maintenance schedules.

Foster a collaborative environment, promoting teamwork and trust among team members.

Maintain effective communication channels with all stakeholders.

Utilize technology and systems effectively, including proficiency in Basecamp or similar platforms.
Qualifications:

Proven leadership experience in facilities management, ideally in a multi-site environment.

Extensive background in maintenance operations and related fields, with hands-on experience in electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.

Strong commitment to community engagement and making a meaningful impact.

Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively.

Proficiency in computer applications; familiarity with Basecamp is advantageous.
