Job Title: Hotel Engineer Maintenance Tech
Reports to: Director of Facilities, Maintenance Manager

Essential Job Functions for Maintenance Tech:
- **Use of Work Order system to record follow up and completion of assigned orders.
- Be able to perform preventative maintenance on HVAC units and be able to troubleshoot and fix these units.
- Have a strong working understanding and ability to work with different electrical circuits of different voltages.
- Have a strong working understanding of domestic and commercial plumbing
- Responsible for performing scheduled Preventative Maintenance including HVAC, appliances, refrigeration, plumbing, mechanical and electrical
- Responsible for quality repairs to guest rooms and public areas.
- Maintain all Facilities and Operating Systems in a safe and efficient working order. Will require lifting of 20lbs or more.
- Complete assigned tasks in a safe, timely manner.
- Work with outside contractors to provide necessary improvements or maintenance as directed.
- Maintain records of all work activities and support materials.
- Provide written reports to other departments as needed.
- Provide for safe disposal of all waste material.
- Maintain tools and work area in safe, secure and efficient manner.
- Work with other departments when directed.
- Keep track of supplies and fill out requisition for needed supplies.
- Assist with preventative maintenance in common areas and guest rooms.
Qualifications for Maintenance Tech: * High School Diploma or Equivalent. - required
- Trade School Diploma/Certificate - preferred
- Must be authorized to work in the United States – required
- Must have flexible schedule to include working nights and weekends - required
- Previous maintenance experience. - required
- Basic skills required with computers - preferred
- CPO Certified and experience with pool/tub operations – preferred
- EPA Certification - preferred
- Must pass a drug screening, background check and DMV check – required
Working Condidtions: Must be able to stand on feet throughout the shift, with intermittent periods of walking * Must be able to lift, carry, push & pull up to 50 lbs with assistance
- Must be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand & arm movements frequently, and squeezing & overhead reaching occasionally
- Must be able to bend, squat, crawl, kneel, push, pull, walk on uneven surfaces on an occasional basis
- Must be able to walk outside in a variety of weather conditions (rain, wind, heat)
- Must be able to climb stairs, both indoors and outside in a variety of weather conditions (rain, wind, heat)
- May experience high noise levels due to operation of equipment.
