Universal Accounting Center is a pioneer and leader in post-secondary vocational training specializing in accounting related certifications and training.
We empower our student Accountrepreneurs to start and and grow their own premier practices to provide bookkeeping, accounting, tax and advisory to their own small business clients, with them every step of the way for at least their first 1-2 years.
We are in growth mode. We are seeking qualified BtoC consultative telephone sales professionals to join our Student Enrollment and Admissions Team to work our self-submitted qualified warm leads.
TRAINING START DATE: Either the 5th or 12th of February.
THIS IS A CONSULTATIVE TELEPHONE SALES POSITION.
This is a full-time, salaried (plus commissions and bonuses) career TELEPHONE SALES position (predominately OUTBOUND calling) working remotely from your own home office.
Hours are full time but flexible. This is NOT a 40 hour-per week job. It is not an hourly job. There is no overtime. We expect the job to get done. How long that takes is up to you. If that takes less than 40 hours, that's cool too.
We provide our Enrollment Directors with self-submitted qualified leads (more than we can handle) from throughout the US and Canada. You will be contacting them by telephone, email, text, and video conferencing to enroll potential students in our professional certification programs.
- Professional Bookkeeper Certification,
- Professional Tax Preparer Certification,
- QuickBooks Specialist Certification,
- Profit & Growth Expert Certification.
- CFO/Advisory Certification.
Our turnkey programs include ongoing expert coaching and mentoring programs for 1-2 years to assist students to apply what they certify on, and to start and grow their own successful businesses, or obtain a better, higher paying job to achieve their income and lifestyle goals.
All our programs are designed to:
- Get the student through the course and certified within 30-60 days.
- Get them in revenue with their first clients within 60-90 days.
- Get them to achieve their income and lifestyle goals within 8-12 months, or well on their way.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS & PREFERENCES
- Must have strong self-management and problem solving skills, and the ability to work independently. Resourceful, resilient.
- 2 or more years of successful consultative TELEPHONE SALES experience, preferably selling high end offerings ($2000-$10,000 or more), preferably BtoC, preferrably intangibles, professional development, certifications, coaching or consulting sales is a plus.
- Must have strong, reliable internet, and a reliable Computer System, PC/Windows. All our systems are cloud-based and operate off of Google Chrome.
- Must have a drive for making outbound telephone calls - a smiler and dialer. We have more self-submitted leads than we can handle and need people eager to search out the GOLD in those leads!
- Ability to think quickly and adapt from outbound to inbound, as we also have a lot of inbound calls, and appointments that may show up on your calendar.
- Solid CRM, on-line processing, and computer skills. Type 30+ WPM
- Effective communication skills, written and oral, by telephone, email, text, and video conference.
- Must have good questioning, listening, and conversational skills.
- Must be able to perform a script, make it their own, improvise it to individual prospects, as a talented presenter that makes a script sound seamlessly conversational. (Think of the old radio shows - scripted, but didn't sound scripted.)
- Must have good organizational and follow-up skills.
- Must be flexible, teachable, coachable and willing to adapt to and adopt a proven system, and then help us improve it.
COMPENSATION
This position will pay $72,000 - $75,000 per year at performance standard including base plus commission plus bonuses and spiffs after successful completion of 60-90 day ramp up. Our top Enrollment Director is earning well over $100,000.
