- Lead Geohazard Mitigation construction projects throughout Western US
- Support high-performing rope access teams through technical challenges
- First-class geotechnical drilling plant equipment & rope access safety systems
About the role
You will run concurrent design & construct Geohazard Mitigation construction projects, in collaboration with Project Engineers and Operations. Driving the design (internal or outsourced), cost tracking and delivery of projects for rockfall/avalanche protection, ground improvement in mining and slope stabilisation.
Key responsibilities:
- Interpret client specifications and construction drawings
- Weekly Project Programming
- Subcontractor management and supporting the Superintendent’s
- Cost tracking, Variations and Payment Claims management
- Weekly reporting (Commercial & HSE)
- Quality Assurance documentation
- Purchase materials and manage purchase orders.
As part of a global business, you will have support from the US and Australian senior leadership teams and Corporate Services.
About you
You are a proven Senior Geohazard Mitigation Project Manager, with a structured and constructive approach to delivering safe project outcomes. We offer a technically challenging, autonomous and flexible environment, where your ideas are valued.
- Geohazard construction, rockfall, slope stabilisation industry experience
- Tertiary qualification in Civil, Mining or Geotechnical Engineering
- Effective stakeholder and cost management skills.
