SCHEDULE:
Monday-Friday: 8 a.m.- 5 p.m.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Reconcile the AR & AP module/reports to the GL monthly and make appropriate adjustments.

Assist in updating the accounting records such as the general ledger, sub ledgers for pre-paids, accruals, insurance, payables and receivables, fixed asset database, and fixed assets/depreciation entries on a monthly basis. Review expense dimension classifications and make appropriate adjustments monthly.

Prepare the monthly bank account reconciliations and make appropriate adjusting entries.

Prepare and assist with the month-end closing and make appropriate adjusting entries.

Prepare and enter program specific allocations for reimbursement.

Prepare accounting estimates for all accrued expenses, receivables, and allowances, and make recommendations to the CFO and Sr. Accounting Manager for adjusting entries.

Prepare and enter the payroll in the GL within 24 hours of the semi-monthly payroll date.

Prepare 401K plan contributions for eligibility and make contribution deposits for each semi-monthly payroll. Prepare and enter the 401K contributions into the GL within 24 hours of the semi-monthly payroll date.

Interact with the facilities business team to support their accurately and timely completion of their job duties.

Participate in audits and reviews, including facility audits; assist auditors during the annual audit and assist with audit compliance with periodic reviews of the accounting policies and procedures.

Prepare and assist with the annual budget process. Ensure that the budget is completed to meet the deadlines, as outlined in the budget timeline.

Assist with the physical inventory of all fixed assets every even numbered year.

Maintain strict confidentiality on all client and Foundation matters and refer questionable issues to the CFO.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITION:

Knowledge of Microsoft Office software required, including MS Excel and Outlook calendar.

Education:
-
High School Diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor's Degree required

Accounting Degree required
-
CPA seeking or preferred
Experience:
-
Minimum of 3-5 years accounting experience required.

Knowledge of Sage Intacct Accounting software preferred
