Description: Performs clerical duties of the construction office such as file maintenance and correspondence along with providing excellent customer service in a busy and fast-paced environment; performs related duties as required. Work is performed under general direction from the Construction Official or his/her designee, who reviews performance for adherence to departmental policies and procedures.
Duties: Customer service, data entry, correspondence, schedule preparation, filing and accurate record keeping. Answers telephones and collects permit fees; attends counter and interacts with the general public in a positive and professional manner while responding to questions related to the construction permit process.
Requirements: High School graduate or equivalent; two (2) years of general clerical experience. Must possess strong skills in MS Word and Excel; experience in Spatial Data Logic software preferred. Successful candidate will be an excellent team player and must be extremely organized and detail oriented.
Salary: $37,668.00 - $53,200.00; includes health benefits
