Catalano, Caboor & Co. is a well-established certified public accounting and business consulting firm located in Lombard. Since 1987, the Firm has provided a wide range of accounting services including, tax planning and preparation, audit, and business and management consulting services to businesses and individuals nationwide.
We are searching for a tenacious and motivated Administrative Assistant to assist our team in Lombard. Our ideal candidate will have experience greeting clients, providing customer service, will have knowledge of office equipment, computers, Outlook, and should have experience answering phones.
Essential Functions
- Answer phones, take messages, and direct callers to appropriate individuals all while presenting a professional demeanor.
- Interact with clients, accountants, and other team members in-person, over the phone, and by email.
- Schedule meetings with clients and team members by using Outlook calendars and virtual meeting platforms.
- Sort and distribute mail.
- Scan documents into document storage system.
Skills
- Experience with client interaction in-person and on the phone.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
- Highly detailed oriented.
- Organized and able to manage multiple priorities and projects.
- Computer literate in Word, Excel, Outlook.

This is a full time position with required in office hours of 8:30 to 5:00 pm during regular season, and potential for over-time during tax season (mid-January through the April tax deadline annually).
