Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Director to join our team. As the Sales Director, you will be responsible for leading and managing our sales team, driving revenue growth, and developing strategic sales plans. This is a leadership role that requires strong market knowledge, exceptional sales skills, and the ability to effectively negotiate and close deals.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and objectives
- Lead and manage a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support
- Identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with potential clients
- Drive revenue growth by meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify areas for business development
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of sales strategies
- Manage key accounts and build strong relationships with clients
- Utilize Salesforce or other CRM tools to track sales activities, pipeline, and performance metrics
- Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor analysis to senior management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective product launches and promotions
- Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to senior management
- Train and mentor team members to enhance their sales skills and product knowledge
Skills:
- Previous Hotel Sales Manager experience.
- Knowledge of a hotel structure and how all departments interact.
- Basic mathematical and calculator skills to prepare cost proposals.
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers in a friendly and positive manner, in order to solicit business, meet client needs and resolve complaints.
- Ability to conduct site inspections.
- Ability to listen, speak and write English to ascertain and respond to client needs.
- Professional demeanor.
- Must be extremely detail oriented and organized.
- Enjoy asking for business and closing sales.
- Enjoy a team sales approach.
- Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong customer service orientation and skills.

Education
College degree preferred, however any combination of education and training within hotel sales may also be considered.
Experience:
- Previous Hotel-Hospitality experience required.
- Proven experience in a sales leadership role, preferably as a Sales Director or similar position
- Strong background in technical sales, account management, or business development
- Demonstrated ability to analyze market trends and develop effective sales strategies
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Exceptional negotiation and closing skills
- Strong business acumen with the ability to manage budgets and drive revenue growth
- Proficient in using Salesforce or other CRM tools
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
