Maintenance Technician
First Shift: Monday-Thursday, 6:00AM-3:30PM, Friday 6AM-10AM with mandatory OT when applicable
Description: Metalworks Inc. is looking for a hard-working, motivated individual to fulfill a Machine Maintenance Technician position. This person will work with the maintenance planner to prioritize equipment maintenance and is responsible for troubleshooting and the repairs of down equipment.
Pay Range: $25-28 DOE
Essential Functions:
- Troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic malfunctions and breakdowns, as well as performing repairs on (Bystronic Lasers, Amada & Prima Power Press Brakes, Hass CNC Mills, and Lathes).
- Documenting processes and maintaining mechanical service records
- Perform and assist in weekly or monthly maintenance PM’s
- Assist in the construction of robot cells and repairs.
- Carry out instructions from the Automation Integrations Engineer
- Read and interpret schematics and other technical documents
- Familiar with PLC, Servos, and drives and other similar electrical components
- Must be able to work independently
- Ability to work overtime hours, as needed.
- Must have a valid Drivers License and able to work at any of the 5 Lincoln based Metalworks Inc. locations.
Requirements:
- Electromechanical Degree, Mechatronic Degree, or 3 years’ experience in Electronic/Hydraulic Controls.
