Summary of Responsibilities
The Client Services Representative (CSR) develops a strategic plan to create new and strengthen existing business relationships and achieve key performance indicators. The CSR is part of the growth team and will provide increased awareness, referrals, and admissions into the behavioral health portfolio. The position is assigned to a general region or regions to expand awareness representing the entire range of UpHealth Behavioral services. The position exemplifies an attitude of integrity and service and upholds company values in all areas of responsibility.
Essential Duties:
- Actively prospect, cold call on the phone, and meet face-to-face continuously to expand prospective and active accounts within the pipeline
- Collaborate with UpHealth Behavioral/Transformations leadership to leverage strategic initiatives (including but not limited to the admissions, clinical, revenue, alumni, and medical teams)
- Maximize available resources and create new resources to meet or exceed strategic growth goals
- Develop goals and timelines for closing new and enhanced key account opportunities
- Provide excellent follow-up with prospects and existing relationships
- Maintain excellent and ongoing knowledge of the range of company services.
- Travel and attend events/conferences, meetings, and other strategic efforts when needed
- Maintaining a professional atmosphere at all times
- Completing all required compliance training
- Identify and approach new potential strategic customers/groups/industries
- Achieving revenue and utilization targets
- Maintain CRM notes on a daily/weekly basis
- Achieving minimum outbound actions weekly (including, but not limited to, calls, meetings, and email campaigns)
Accountability and Performance Measures:

- Identify and approach new potential strategic customers/groups/industries

Necessary Abilities:
- In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance, behavioral health trends, market research, and sales
- In-depth knowledge of behavioral health services, levels of care (detox, residential, PHP, IOP, OP)
- In-depth knowledge of Salesforce, MS Office Suite, and other Sales Enablement Tools (HubSpot, Definitive Healthcare, etc.)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Demonstrates a high level of follow-through and ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Enthusiastic and passionate about making a positive impact on the team’s overall success
- Previous experience with behavioral health, including primary mental health and substance use disorder
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in the behavioral health industry
- Valid Driver's License
- All employees may be required to work before, during, and/or immediately after a natural or man-made disaster
