Responsibilities:
- Provide home care services to individuals with developmental disabilities, memory care needs, or other medical conditions.
- Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Administer medication and assist with medical documentation as required.
- Perform specialized medical tasks as needed.
- Prepare meals and assist with meal planning and nutrition.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Follow all HIPAA regulations and maintain client confidentiality.
Skills:
- Previous experience working with individuals with Alzheimer's or memory care needs is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with clients who may have physical or cognitive limitations.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently while adhering to care plans.
- Knowledge of basic medical procedures and ability to provide basic first aid if necessary.
Please note that this position may require occasional travel to healthcare facilities for client appointments or consultations.
