Job Summary
Responsible for a variety of Health Information Management functions as follows: filing, sorting, scanning information into electronic health records (HER) and retrieval of medical records, and attending training to maintain competency. Performing quality checks and ensuring all scanning is completed within 24 hours of receipt. Quality checks images for clarity, and orientation and ensures that the information is scanned into the correct patient’s medical record. Driving to pick up patient records at the Hospital. Must have good software skills, basic general office work skills, and the ability to multitask.
