Position Summary: Our Human Resources Assistant will provide front counter customer service, and review and accept employment paperwork (Application, Hiring Form, Form I-9, W-4, etc.) from Student, Faculty, and Intermittent employees. Special focus on facilitating hires for athletic camps and EPIC summer camp, which includes ensuring Live Scan background checks are cleared before hire. Answer incoming calls, input/audit payroll data, file and assist with department projects. Oversee file maintenance and digitization of paper files.
Qualifications: Critical to the position are attention to detail, accuracy, confidentiality, professionalism, excellent customer service, data entry, and organizational skills. We are looking for someone who is very detail orientated, shows initiative, asks questions, and provides positive experiences for incoming hires. Data entry and excellent computer skills required. We are always on the lookout for process improvers. The ability to maintain regular and reliable attendance for scheduled shifts is required. Use of Excel, Outlook, Adobe Sign, and Calendly preferred.
Hiring Information: This part-time position is non-benefited and limited to 1000 hours total (July 1st to June 30th). Continuance of this position will be based on need, budget, and availability. Office hours are 10am to 4pm, Monday through Friday. Looking for someone who can work approximately 20 hours per week during office hours.
