We are seeking a License & Software Asset Manager who has experience providing support in a dynamic, fast-paced environment within the public sector. The License & Software Asset Manager will have the opportunity to shape the growth of the company by providing unparalleled support to our customer through the Continuous Diagnostic & Mitigation (CDM) Program.
What you’ll be doing:
- Apply process improvement and reengineering principles, methodologies, and structured approaches to effect process modernization and quality improvement efforts with an understanding of technical problems and solutions as they relate to the current and future business environment.
- Analyze business processes by mapping and evaluating as-is process scope, objectives, and steps.
- Identifies gaps and opportunities for improvement, integrating new and improved processes with existing ones.
- Recommends process, quality, and performance measurement improvements.
- Assists with institutionalization communicating these changes to impacted Business Systems teams and other stakeholders.
- Provide input, documents requirements, and supports the design and delivery of training and orientation programs as needed to support process changes.
What you need to know:
- Understands license management terminology from various vendors within the Cybersecurity domain (i.e., ForeScout, Tenable, Splunk, Elastic, Gigamon, CarbonBlack, etc.).
- Understanding federal government procurement process (high-level process, not legal requirements) to help facilitate documentation being signed and executed along with pre-planning activities to support aspects of License Management (i.e., Renewals, New License Purchases, etc.).
Must have’s:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- BS in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline from an accredited college or university required.
- Detailed oriented with strong MS Excel Skill, along with critical thinking for identifying, documenting, and proposing resolutions to challenges within the License Management domain.
- Strong communication skills and able to communicate across levels of staff (single contributor through executive). Communication would consist of various mediums, written, verbal, presentation.
- Ability to obtain and maintain federal agency required clearance.
